On July 23, 2013, Shanghai Fleetguard Filters Co., Ltd. Wuhan plant was formally put into production. The ceremony was held in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Wuhan plant was officially put into production, and representatives from all parties jointly launched the production button for the new factory.

In order to keep abreast of the development trend of the domestic vehicle industry and comply with the development needs of the automobile industry in the central region, Shanghai Fleetguard Filters Co., Ltd. officially launched the investment project of Wuhan New Factory in 2010. The new factory covers an area of ​​53,900 square meters, with a total construction area of ​​22,570 square meters in the first phase, including 14,580 square meters of workshops and 4,536 square meters of auxiliary buildings. The planned construction area of ​​the second phase is approximately 9,500 square meters. The operation of the Wuhan plant has an indispensable role in the rise of Dongfeng Components and Shanghai Fleetguard in Central China and consolidating the leading position of the industry.

Dong Feng Automobile Parts (Group) Co., Ltd. General Manager Weng Yunzhong spoke at the ceremony. He said that Shanghai Fleetguard’s Wuhan plant has been successfully put into operation and opened a new chapter in the development of Dongfeng Components and Shanghai Fleetguard. He hoped that Shanghai Fleetguard will continue adhering to the spirit of continuous innovation, providing products and services to customers in the best way, developing with key regional customers, becoming a solid strategic supplier, and eventually building a world-class factory. The goal of construction will focus on making the Wuhan factory an international benchmarking factory; and will make new and greater contributions to the development of Dongfeng's business and local economic prosperity!

Peng Lixin, the vice president of Cummins Inc., which is in charge of engineering technology in China, said at the launch ceremony that the Shanghai new plant in Fleetguard Shanghai marks a new level for Cummins to develop in China. It was put into operation for both the Cummins and Dongfeng joint ventures and for Wuhan. The economic planning of the Economic Development Zone and the Economic Development Zone of Hubei Province will bring positive energy to the automobile industry chain in Hubei. The commissioning of the new plant is another major result of joint ventures between Dongfeng and Cummins in the field of parts and components. From the establishment of the first joint venture in Shanghai and the opening of the 6th operation base in Wuhan today, Dongfeng and Cummins have created a model of strong cooperation and win-win cooperation for joint ventures in the industry.

Shanghai Fleetguard Filters Co., Ltd. was jointly invested by Dongfeng and Cummins and was established in 1994 in Pudong New Area of ​​Shanghai. It is currently one of the largest manufacturers of automotive engine filters in China. The products include air filtration. , fuel filters, oil filters, oil-water separators, cooling additives, etc., have set up branches/subsidiaries in Shiyan and Liyang, and the products have been exported to North America, Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia and other places, with annual sales of nearly 10 100 million yuan. Shanghai Fleetguard's new factory will be located in Wuhan and will provide strong support for the long-term development of the company. At present, the first-phase civil engineering construction of Shanghai Fleetguard Wuhan Plant has been completed and two production lines will be officially put into use. After the completion of the project, the plant will reach an annual output of 20 million filters (cores). After being put into production, the Wuhan plant will provide products and services for complete vehicle and construction machinery customers in the Midwest and aftermarket in the Midwest through a complete product line.
